northeastern Ohio | My parents house had termites about 20 years ago. They hired Terminix. At that time, it was about $25 per month. They installed bait stations all around the house and came back every month to refill them with a small piece of wood coated in diflubenzuron . After about 4 months, they couldn't see any more termite activity, so they cancelled the service. Terminix never came back for the bait stations, so Dad would continue to check them...... https://www.terminix.com/termite-treatment/
I see that diflubenzuron is the active ingredient in Clarifly, which is available from places like TSC: https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/starbar-clarifly-larvicide... | |
