Subject: RE: Banjo 200 digital Flowmeter problem

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I have used a Raven Flow max battery unit for several years for this purpose but misplaced it. I use it for every batch so I went to my dealer to purchase another Raven. They didn't have any on hand so I bought the Banjo that they had. I used it for a few days but was not happy with it and preferred the Raven turbine style. Fortunately I found the Raven and was able to purchase another one on the used market so I sold the Banjo.

I found that the Banjo was finicky and I just plan like the Raven meter better. Since I do my mixing in an old shed, I have a 2" Raven flow meter on my transfer pump with a homemade display running off of 110VAC. This works very well since I don't need to be concerned with batteries. I still have the Raven Flow Max hanging on a nail for backup. I don't trust the Raven for measuring the pure chemicals themselves but only as an indication of my "running batch" so I know when to shut off the water as I complete mixing a batch.
