Subject: RE: Picking some sweet cherry

EC-C-MO
We only have one tree of sweet and about a dozen sour trees. I think there are a few that grow just for the farmer markets in Missouri. Our crop seems to be about a third of normal. We have put up some preserves and pie filling last year. This year we are trying freezing then thawing and running them through a cone shaped colander for the raw uncooked juice. I read something about raw juice having more health benefits.
The sweets are either ate fresh or froze whole for hot weather snacks. Your state would be a good one to visit. How many kinds of fruit are grown there?
