My father quit farming and got a job and I had an opportunity which I took.
Almost ended my career in 1967 when I rented another farm and then plowed down almost all the edible beans I planted but managed to carry on with a government loan and the 1967 weather disaster was the reason they set up crop insurance for us.
Got the loan with the understanding that I would buy the new crop insurance for the next year
How many crops?
