NW in. | You are so out of context, back in antiquity slavery was common, women were chattel, many things were wrong in that day but there is still a lot of that going on in other countries. Jesus came into the world and him and his message changed all that. He lifted women to personhood, he lifted children to value. He said to value people. He changed the world and you don't even realize it. You are a benefit of his message as back then life was a lot harder than today. Christians opened most hospitals, orphanages and early universities. You need some education of real life. You should look at the big picture..
