Alberta Canada
Canada needs a lot of immigrants for three reasons.

1, population growth drives economic growth.

Boom-town vs ghost-town, In rural areas, with declining population, businesses shut down, stores close, houses are abandoned.
In areas with growing population, houses, roads, schools, and hospitals are being built. Industrial, commercial, and retail businesses are thriving.

In the States you have the Rust-belt vs Sun-belt. One is growing, the other is struggling.

2, Canadian birth rate is 1.47.

Without immigration, Canadians would eventually cease to exist

3, Canada's population is too small.

Most of our major industries are dependent on exports, and therefore, the whims of foreign governments. If our population was larger, we could use Canadian resources to primarily benefit Canadians.
