Who are the "they" that want fuel so high? Can't imagine that the party in charge is happy about it with elections coming. Maybe the Left Green part of the party, but this economy is not good for getting votes In the grand scheme I feel like fuel prices have lagged behind inflation of every other product. I don't like it but sure seems that it's playing catch-up now. I don't know where the sweet spot on prices is,I think we had got used to $2.75 gas and $3.25 diesel. Bought my first diesel truck in 07 and at that time it was $1 under gas. In 08 I paid $4.79 for diesel one night when it spiked up big then. I guess if you look back 14 years price could run up a lot more. |
