It is impossible to determine what part of the loss was caused by which peril so if any qualifying cause of loss occurred then the entire loss is eligible for ERP. (per ERP information bulletin). Also, cause of loss that was listed on your MPCI loss notice does not matter. Don't over think this, bottom line is that they are wanting to give the money to producers.
