Bremen, KS | That sounds a lot like a Hot Box Detector (HBD) and a High/Wide load detector. UP Also has (had?) Wheel Impact Load Detector (WILD) sites but none on my former territory.
The current production of HBD equipment, at least when I worked there, had provisions for the AEI module built in. UP didn't integrate the sites back then due to interdepartmental politics. A couple of years back the UP merged the telecom techs under signal department management so I suspect that they're merging sites whenever they upgrade them, though that is guess on my part. | |
