northeast ohio | We switched from FMX+ to PIQ last year after Trimble added seed monitoring module capabilities. Also running a Raven replacement setup with another TMX2050. A benefit is an AgCam can be 1/4 of the screen while PIQ is running. Last year we also started using Autosync to Farmer Core with Work Orders sent to / from each display. Jury is still out on some of the work order functionality. TMX’s are RTK on the state CORS VRS network directly through a hotspot. Also using NextSwath and Auto Pilot Motor Drive on tractors without a hydraulic valve.
Displays are updated to current firmware which keeps the FieldIQ modules current as well.
