That really stinks Jim.... I had a similar story. We were going to bale a few acres of over mature rye grass before the rain came Saturday. Finally got home from work about 5pm and got baler hooked up. had all sorts of electrical problems to work through for first 3 bales. finally got it figured out through 5-6 bales and was able to finish the last few... Super glad I didn't cut down hay as well. Because I was going to try and get that done too.

Will need to be a best practice to make sure and run the baler a few DAYS before I try and bale with it... but time is an issue all too often.

I am really sorry to hear about your loss of hay. always sucks to watch a good crop get lost....
