Subject: RE: Agleader Steady Steer

NW Missouri
I just got mine installed in the past week and used it to plant beans. Never had autosteer before. I had asked the salesman before I bought it if people used WAAS to plant corn and he assured me that they did - but it sure didn't corner very good on endrows. It also seemed like it lost the line fairly quick - like if I made the first pass through the field and worked my way east then when I came back to work my way west it would be off.

Are these things just par for the course with WAAS, or something that can be adjusted? I'm still very satisfied overall, just want to get it to operate as accurately as possible. When I took off the smoothing function or whatever they called it, that seemed to help a little on the corners, but it still wasn't accurate enough to suit me.
