Southwest IN | I was interested in looking at purchasing a large ceiling fan for one of our cattle barns where we feed out cattle. I know these are very popular in dairy operations but was curious if anyone else feeding cattle out utilizes them. One of the barns we feed out in does not seem to have the best airflow and was wondering if this would be an effective way to solve that issue. What type of cost is involved in something to this nature. We feed the cattle out utilizing a dry pack bedding system and it seems like this may be a good option to not only keep the cattle cooler in the heat of the summer but also keep the bedding nice and dry.
