scmn | I have used a tractor/wagon to walk multiple halter broke heifers simultaneously (i.e. 4 heifers toed to hay rack walk 1 mile down and back on gravel in 1st gear idle.) The biggest thing with a tractor/wagon is to pay attention and not drag them. Halter breaking makes the cattle associate relief with control and they learn to respect the halter; pulling constant with no relief does not make them respect the halter and can injure the animal. | |
