SilverSeeder - 6/4/2022 08:21 What’s the harvest date on PP acres? I can’t remember. Don’t count chickens before eggs hatch. I was hoping to harvest my sorghum for forage last time I did PP. Was too wet to get into til next spring then I took as bedding bc there was so much trash couldn’t get through.

As long as its taken for silage or mowed for hay, and not taken for seed production you can take it anytime.

To the guys saying it wont matter, you can grow 3-5 ton an acre hay on full 80's and quarters, thats a lot of hay in a hurry.  I think it will greatly cap feed prices for "regular" hay,  The premium stuff will still bring good money.
