Texas | I run wire all the way around perimeter loops back to charger from both sides so if there is a short, everything is still hot. If it’s not a full blown ground out you can hear it driving the gator around the place. No need for a finder.
Branch off of it for traps. Connect to both sides if you can so it’s a bridge with voltage coming from both sides.
About 150 acres of pretty grown up stuff fenced. When I ran a 100 mile zareba it had to be perfect to keep stuff in. I run a cyclops boss now 41 joule. Wild hogs tear my fence down now and then and cows won’t cross it laying on the ground. I blow a fuse now and then, but I used to have to fix the zareba every few months during storm season. They just aren’t good.
