Yep. I just wish cocklebur was as obliging. If you mow cocklebur while it's still low enough to not shade out the grass, it just seeds out three inches off the ground. If you wait until the ideal time to mow cocklebur(to ensure no seeds are produced), it will have already killed out the grass underneath the canopy.
