S IL | Ok I’m going to be a little more transparent. I have a Filipino lady friend who I’ve been talking to for 2.5 years and because of the Covid mess have never travelled to see her. Philippines is now open to foreign visitors but requires being fully vaccinated. Vietnam has no restrictions now. Instead of getting vaccinated I can spend more money on airfare to travel to Vietnam plus she has to fly plus we’d have to find each other on a country foreign to us. And assuming nothings go well i would be going back to meet her family in Philippines on another trip which I’d have to be vaccinated anyway.
So bring vaccinated would save me over a $1000 with much less hassle on this one trip. That’s the current bottom line. She had to be vaccinated didn’t have a choice snd doesn’t think it’s s big deal. I’m very against it but considering it because of the unique circumstances and more concerned about any long term risk versus being sick for s day or sore arm. | |
