Thumb of Michigan | Depends on how dry it was. I like to think of hay being like a tea bag, the drier it is and the more water you put on, the more tea extracted. It appears you are cutting fairly early so you started with a higher protein level, so you could end up with decent hay. Better than hay cut in another 3-4 weeks, anyhow.
Do you have a way to wrap it? This would 'save' some leaves (read feed value). | |
