| I’m just across the border in Colorado from you. Trying to get on rye this year but didn’t quite work out. We have ran on rye and chopped and bagged some for our sheep in the past and haven’t had many issues. About half the time the quality of the rye isn’t worth a crap. Neighbor thinks he can grow it but the feed test shows other wise haha. I wonder if it’s a nitrate related issue. I think that would affect the the nervous system. Unless he picked up some type of foreign weed I can’t think of what else it would be | |
