Subject: Feed Grain stored outside question


I was into the co-op this morning picking up some mineral and the guy mentioned to me they had some cull beans and asked if I needed any more. I normally buy them and grind them up for extra protein in the rations. But he didn’t have room and piled the culls out on the ground last winter. They have been piled for a bout a year now. Crust on top obviously and alittle mold here or there in the pile. Got a alittle smell to it. Kinda have to work alittle to dig down in it. What do you think, are they worth feeding? They are next to free. They make up 3-5 percent of my rations normally. Just never fed them rained on
