ottertail co mn | When I finish beef they hang at 800-1050 pounds at around say 18 month old some young as 14 some as old as 24 months. They don’t get silage after 700 pounds or so.
Maybe too young and small and not off silage long enough. That can’t be real enjoyable to eat. I had a prime rib one time at a high end restaurant, it smelled and tasted just like my grandpa’s dairy barn. One bite and then I went to a liquid diet that night.
