| Been using hi tensile fence since 1990. Love it. use most all creosote wood posts. Few steel too. Lots of deer too. The wire should not be 'banjo string tight'. Let it have some flex in it. I say like waves on and ocean--little swoop to it. Gives wire a chance to flex in hot and cold weather and when deer hit it. I haven't used barbwire in 30 yrs. Would be out of cow-calf business if they took it away. Check with Premier Fencing in Washington, Iowa. I'm guessing they would have some ideas. Very good company and love their fencers. Just my 2 cents worth. | |
