Coastal South Carolina | I use high tensile fence and have heavy deer pressure. I use two strands of hot. Turn your post so the insulators face the direction the deer come from( usually face out from pasture). If they run into it, it pushes the fence into the insulator and post. Also when first putting fence up tye some flagging tape to it. The deer will jump over it and never hit the wire after the first time. | |
