Texas
Add a bale of hay (I like wheat or barley hay)
I would throw 5# whole corn morning and night in a trough to get him started. After a week ease it up slowly until you at least 10 a feeding. Don’t ever add corn if he isn’t eating all of it. Suckers will decide they want to eat it all suddenly and get sick for a few days. (Acidosis)

60 days he will taste fine, may take 120 to get him close to “finished” if your wanting some big nice steaks.

Sometimes they will prefer grass and not take to corn really well. They will eat good, but not have as much fat.

That’s how we do ours. I’d say the meat tastes very “clean” for lack of a better word.
