“These are the times that try men's souls.” | It all depends on the day, if really hot weather and or bulls are sore footed, we might cut them back and load them later in the day to be dumped in new pasture. We are 10 days into the first breed cycle right now, all the bulls were moving good staying right with the cows. The one I took pics of trailed right along. Only thing that bothers me of trailing with cows is if a cow is in heat and bulls knock a cow or bull into a car driving though them. However, it's open range laws, and it's posted on signs. Sadly 99% of the drivers don't know what those signs even mean until it's too late. |
