Usually try to have 2 years on hand-I sometimes buy large quantity's and store in bunkers with a tarp-this year we will empty out a bunker that has high moisture corn over 5 years old-i have corn in a couple bins that is pushing 8 years old-we ground some alfafa hay last week that was 4 years old-currently chopping new rye silage that might not get feed for a while-
Guess once you run out of feed its game over-year in year out-the high priced feed is not very high over a 3-7 year window
