Central SD | They were sold grade and yield on gene net grid. The camera was not discerning the difference between fat and muscle. Rib eye size was affected by the letter that accompanied the check. It amounted to about $20/hd. Trust me they didn’t do this voluntarily. They do have a little oversight sometimes at least. They are blaming it on the camera mfg company. We are trusting them a lot in these situations. I am small time and getting grade adjustments after the fact has been the new normal for me. Tyson sent me an adjustment check in fall 2020 with no letter so I have no idea what that was about.
