| I have a 3230/pro700 with a 90 foot boom and I wanted to try to set up a custom boom for 80 foot so I could spray on the planter tracks for my 16 row corn planter. However when I reduce the section on each end by 5 feet in a custom boom set up when I go back to the main screen my boom on indicators are permanently grayed out like they’re not spraying. Also the fence row nozzles make the rate pretty inaccurate on mine even if they’re not in use so I think my guidance guy turned them off in the pro 700 somehow to keep the rate accurate. They said maybe these issues could be solved with a software update but that it also might create new issues so I haven’t updated. I find my old easy guide 500+ easy boom I had in my previous sprayer to be a much more user-friendly sprayer monitor than the pro 700. Sorry I don’t have a better answer other than try a software update or live with its limitations | |
