scmn | First off: back hoe tires, like skid steer tires, are not highway speed rated and fail quickly are speeds over 20-25mph; a cheap implement tire is better on the road than even the best backhoe/skid steer tires. With that said, install some 270/80R15 or 320/70R15 radial implement tires and your problems will go away. The radials are rated much heavier than the 11L15 bias ply implements and are rated at 40mph vs 25 mph for the bias ply tires. Even the 200/90R15 radial implements will carry what an 11L15 will, but they won't fit on your 15x10 wheels.
I have several hay wagons with BFG Radial Implement Control tires on them and know of several guys with the Firestone Destination Radial Farm Implement tires on them that have zero issues after blowing 1-2 per year on equipment with 11L15s or 12.5L15s prior. Though I have no experience with them, both BKT and Alliance have a good reputation with the radial implements. |
