I am looking for a part-time farm job where I can get some experience and learn more about the practices and management of a farm. I would love to get started farming on my own but I don't feel that I have the knowledge or resources to do so. Thinking that finding a farmer who is possibly retiring soon or just would be willing to share his knowledge with me would be a great start. I am located in South-Eastern, MN near the Northfield area. If anyone knows someone local who might need a hand please let me know. I have run equipment a little bit before and have driven all kinds of trailers and whatnot. I think I could pick up the equipment pretty quickly with a little instruction. Also pretty good at fixing and repairing stuff. Feel free to contact me with any thoughts. I also would like to see what other ways you would recommend finding a starting connection? Where would you as a farmer look?
