| As Ijadx160 says voltage problems are most usual errors on an EZ-Steer.
Even if it connected directly to battery there can be problems like:
Bad battery to ground connection.
Bad alternator to battery + connection.
I have had both of the over the years. A voltage drop by 0,9 V can be the reason to problems.
For person using EZ-System on an older tractor I would highly recommend keeping a good digital voltage meter on the tractor. I myself prefer to have a current clamp type to find out the condition of the alternator.
