It can communicate with an ESP32 board using Wi-Fi station mode (requires internet), Wi-Fi (soft access point no internet needed) or Bluetooth. This does requires some knowledge of the ESP32 and the Ag Leader system. It is not an off the shelf, buy it and plug it in type deal.
I use these boards with my shed door openers and lights so my phone can be a remote for those as well as the sprayer. The sky is pretty much the limit. Range is limited with Wi-Fi Access Point and Bluetooth but that is usually a good thing. No point in turning the spray booms on from the other side of the country.
