Subject: 500 coverage switch

Northern Ohio Grain
On another rainy day been doing some reading about a coverage switch for an ez 500. Is it as simple as connecting pin 4 and pin 5 on the 9 pin serial, or pin B and pin C on the weatherpack on cable 52033?

I keep reading about no voltage to this. If I use a normally closed button switch on a planter unit connecting B to C, basically grounding it, there wouldn't be any voltage to it. Would this work?
