| I had this several years ago using an Ag-372, Pro 700, except it really did leave bad skips in the field. Sent a file to Precision to get analyzed, and the GPS was reporting it turning 90° for 1/5th of a second, causing it to swath off.
Tried several different configurations, new harnesses, calibrations and even had the dealer come out and do a complete firmware upgrade on everything. Solved nothing. I finally gave up and bought a used Deere SF3000 with RTK, 2600 display and new ATU300 last year. Not only is the tractor driving straighter than ever, but PP 20/20 has given us no GPS related issues since.
In my investigating this issue, I've been told several times that most of precision's weird issues seem to be associated with Trimble and Case GPS equipment. Deere and AgL seem to be a favorite of the guys I talked to.
