Southeast South Dakota | I have a Cricket wireless cell phone with unlimited data.
It is truly unlimited, but the hotspot is not unlimited.
I use PDAnet (which came preloaded on the Cricket ovation phone) and tether it to my PC for unlimited internet at speeds which are very suitable.
There is a 15G limit on info going out thru the hotspot before it is throttled.
But that never applies to me- If I was going to do big time video streaming I would tether the phone to a laptop or PC - then run an HDMI cable from that to the larger display for viewing - so none of the video streamin would count as going out hotspot.
The system works very good - been using it for years
