I use quickbooks for multiple businesses and have since 2007. The computer it is on is connected to the internet 24/7 and no issues.
I have good backups, multiple ones in different physical locations and I use common sense.
It certainly can’t hurt keeping the computer from the internet but if you are so worried about it you are afraid to transfer your data from an old computer with a flash drive then maybe just avoiding computers all together is best.
I mean this sincerely I wouldn’t want to spend my life worried about something.
