Clayton county IA | 2nd year with my small herd of cows I bought from my neighbor when he retired. The bull that came with the herd was pretty old and was very mean so he went to the sale barn. Now I'm looking at renting a bull from a local guy was just hoping for some opinions between the 2. I might try and buy a bull yet but i grew up on a dairy and don't have a clue what I'm looking for. Thanks for the any help given. Its only 20 cows but I have really enjoyed it so far and hopefully will be expanding when I get a few more years of experience. I included some pictures of a couple calves to because who dosent like pictures!
