Subject: Ubiquiti vs MikroTik point to point

We finally have Starlink. It's making me look at providing internet to outbuildings and so on.

For home networks at my house and my parents house I guess I'm going with MikroTik routers and switches and it's looking likely that I'll end up with Ubiquiti Unifi stuff for the wireless access points although I haven't researched that part very much yet.

Anyone run MikroTik P2P stuff? Thinking several links of around 100 yards and one possibly of a little less than 2 miles.

My interest in MikroTik has come from hearing that Ubiquiti is someone inconsistent on quality these days. Maybe a firmware update will break stuff or maybe not. That kind of thing. But people say MikroTik wifi is pretty poor so I stuck with Ubiquiti there.

Anyone here like MikroTik?
