We are still running a 2003 dell with windows xp. It does have a couple problems that developed in the last year after the grandson was playing on it. But for the most part it still runs excel and does what I need.
Sir, its time to retire that old computer. Its just running on borrowed time. Buy a used DELL on ebay with windows 10.
If you get a new computer, you will have time to transfer stuff gradually, and not all at once (if your computer dies)
