Central Nebraska | You get what you pay for with printers. Cheap ink jet printers are disposable as the replacement ink often costs as much as the original printer. I have a 15 year old HP LaserJet 400??? that has been rock solid and also have a 5-7 year old Brother black and white unit with scan/copy functions that has been perfect. FWIW, I do some IT work on the side and more than half my support calls are printer related. Wireless printing is nice if you know how to connect stuff to the wireless network but it is the least reliable in my experience. Both mine are networked and hard wired. |
