Needing a new computer. Looking at doing a Windows desktop. Just wanting an SSD and plenty of storage. Will be 99% web browsing, Excel and farm programs. I would really prefer to avoid buying it with all the crap programs they come pre installed with and instead buy without Windows installed and I'll buy a copy and install it myself. Where to look?
What's your opinion on assembling one?
You can have as much storage as you want and of the type you want
You install windows yourself so no garbage
Also the chip shortage is still a thing so prebuilts are inflated more than a bit, if you can get them. |
