I5/I7/I9 5000 series or higher or R5/R7 1000 series or higher.
Intel is on the 12000 series and AMD is on the 5000 series. Newer AMD and Intel are about equal anymore, so no need to worry there.
No offense to Mark, but the computer he linked has a processor from the Intel 3000 series-aka Windows Vista/ 7 age. My 5000 series I7 leaves some things to be desired with Windows 10.
And if she isn't 100% dead set on a new one, you could just get a cheap USB wifi dongle. | |
