I looked into it hard last winter. Model train stuff mostly. After playing with a couple of CAD and slicer programs, I decided I didn't have the time to devote to it to have it be anything but an expensive frustration. Ender makes some great filament printers. Resin is better for fine detail work, but is a bit more expensive and comes with some extra work.
