Could get one of those wifi Hotspot pucks that run off a cell signal. Then instead of getting a cell camera, get a wifi one. That way when he's done at the remote site he could have internet at home.
If have this exact setup (Hotspot puck/reolink wifi cam) thru Verizon and it works well. It is an extra piece of hardware to tote around but it has more uses.
