Subject: Anyone had a "Jiffy Knee" for knee replacement surgery?

West Central Iowa
Getting to the point where I am going to need something done with both my knees. A friend sent me this link the other day and it looks/sounds promising, but I would like some "real life" testimonials.

Here are a couple of copy and pastes from the Jiffy Knee website.

Traditional Knee Exposure
Majority of the surgeons cut the quadriceps tendon and then STITCH it back after the surgery. The quadriceps tendon is the work horse muscle after a knee replacement for walking and stairs. Imagine cutting the tendon and being asked to start walking on it. OUCH!!

Jiffy Knee
Jiffy Knee surgeons DO NOT cut the Quadriceps or the VMO muscles. Rather we use special instruments and techniques to “lift” the muscle and slide it. Only the skin and capsule are cut. Surgery time typically takes 30 minutes to implant. LESS PAIN and QUICKER RECOVERY

Thanks!
