| Our Deere 4450 15 speed PS tractor MFWD 1985 7500 hrs engine stopped suddenly when it was idling on yard.
Engine turns less than 1/2 a round and then there is something solid hard that prevents is from turning.
Took the cylinder top of. It is in shape. And no piston has been touching a valve.
Took the oil pan out. Everything looks OK.
Now it kind of looks like it must be in the transmission side.
Next we are going to split the tractor (engine from transmission not taking cab off).
Does anyone have a hint what this might be about?
