For those of you that might be snowbirds how do you handle winterizing your house if you are away for the winter months? Do you just leave the heat on enough to keep it from freezing and have someone check in on it from time to time? Do you completely shut the heat off and drain all of the plumbing? I have an idea of everything I would need to do, but curious to hear other's thoughts and ideas.
