central Ia | From the post awhile ago about a waitress bringing the right change back so you could leave a tip. Stopped in DeSoto at Ambros for lunch today, cheeseburger soup and a diet coke the bill came to $9.99, gave her a $20 then I looked and only had $1 and a $5 and a couple $20's in my bilfold so hoped she would bring me some $1's, she brought back a $5 and 5 $1 bills, so she got a $2 tip instead on $1. Actually she would have gotten $1.40 because they give you a discount if you pay cash | |
