I add 1 lb bacon to 10 lbs lean meat and double grind. Add a little ice too. We find if we make 1/4 lb patties and freeze, thaw and cook they stay flatter. Most times it is elk meat these days. Bacon burgers. We add oatmeal to ground meat for meatloaf. Italian meatloaf. Olives, ketchup and Italian seasoning, 1/4 lb balls, with Ketchup on top....James
